The three grizzly bear cubs


Norman Phillips, owner and operator of the Northwood Zoo and Animal Sanctuary handles three grizzly bear cubs in Seagrave Ontario, March 16, 2011. The three male cubs are six weeks old and were born at the sanctuary to a 20-year-old mother. At maturity they will weigh over eight hundred pounds. Born in captivity they will never be released to the wild and will be raised at Northwood, a facility dedicated to environmental education through wildlife outreach programs.
